For the folks who didn't know already, I've lost my phone, during which of this period, I had a hard time.
Phones are now a big part of our lives.
Before phones were so common, it was okay not to be able to keep in contact with one person for a day.
Now, when I've not been contactable, people have told me about it, problems about communication have even surfaced.
Let's say I've fixed a date with my friend. She tells me to message her the details. being unable to do so, I've borrowed a phone for my friend to do so, I feel embarrassed to keep asking my friend to check if she replied.
I set a date with my friend to meet, and being unable to tie down a timing, we decided it was best when we fixed it a few hours earlier. Knowing that once I left my home, I would be uncontactable, I tried to call him. Dead call, There was no reception. Wanting to let him know, I left a voice message for him. I was actually wondering why he never replied.
Later on, I checked my voice mail, and I realised, he did reply me, but I never knew. He probably called my handphone directly, even when knowing I lost my phone, since it's so common to do so.
Let's say I wish to contact a friend in the middle of no where, No phone. BAM, let's try to borrow one, and I approach this guy, and how did he respond to me? Nono no.. as if I was an alien going to abduct him once I take over his phone.
It's alot of problems without a phone, and really inconvenient. But I've experienced sometimes, about how it's alot of freedom without one. No one knows where you are and you are left alone, free to do whatever you want without any sudden calls.
But it still sucks without a phone.
