reasons why i started this blog

firstly, wow, been so long since i started to blog again.

1. i just read adam khoo's blog, you can find it from the net, and i feel so needed to post.
2. i feel so needed to post and let all my friends read, let my friends find out wat wonderful things i've been doing and how they can do the same.
3. i just want to let my passion flow to my friends.
4. i read thru my other blogs, and how negative i used to be and then i think, wow. omg. no way no way, i won't ever let myself be down when i blog, i will be POSITIVE. no wonder i used to hate blogging. here's how it will begin

quote adam khoo's blog

This is why I believe that before life would allow anyone to become more sucessful, you must first prove that you can handle problems at your current level first. If not, life will not allow you to advance to the next stage!

firstly i would i like to say is that this, is quite and definately true. i've experienced it myself. in my past few months, i've associated myself around people who are already successful and ppl working to become successful. many a time, i've tried so hard to learn from them, modelling their behaviour, attitude mindset, habit and actions. may a times, they share but they do not share all they know. Recently, i just discovered and got reaffirmed that this fact is true. one of manager i know, mr rick for example has so much wisdom, so much that's it's scary. yet the first time i shared with him, he shared with me a bit, maybe just because at that point of time, i was still not at that level to understand and grasp everything he could and might have told me. however i've matured slightly more, become more capable to this new level of ideas he might share with me with and now he shares based on this new level. Now, i feel embarrassed that i used to ask those questions i asked before, haha. but this i definately believe. if first i start a business wanting to be a millionaire, but if first i don't even have the ropes to know how to start a business, then how will life give me the next level, which is the stage where my business flourish before, i become the millionaire i wish to become?

Here is my very important point that I always pondered on. IF I HAD NOT LIVED such a screwed up life at the beginning and did not have all that adversity, then I would NOT HAVE LEARNT NLP!!! If I did not learn NLP at age 13, then I would never have learnt all the powerful strategies that allowed me to become so super successful today! I would have grown up to be just another ordinary average person.

sometimes, people like my mum think i'm crazy because i actually gave not going to uni some thought, the fact is studying today has minimal use except to maybe help you gain some analaytical skills and maybe some working skills, if i'm studying for bio engineering, but i end up in the F&B industry due to bio eng being congested, then my question is, is your cert still there? yes. is your boss going to pay you for your cert? maybe yes. but will he pay you for that professional and specialised part of your cert? definately no. definately no. so, will your cert become wasted, all your 4 yrs of honours and money gone partially to waste? YES. today, wow, no longer we uni students will have the edge over scholars from other countries, the only edge we will have if we have LIFESKILLS. this is what i cannot stress enough. lifeskills. leadership skills, public speaking skills, ablility to motivate your team, dressing for success, how to feel up up in a down down world, etc, all this i believe, any idustry, any company albeit, F&b, biomedical, Microsoft , any will be welcome and appreciated. this is why, i'm working so hard, so hard to gain all this life skills, if you have know more in depth about the opportunites andresults of just studying, would you go all out, go all the way just to get these skills?

The Key to becoming a millionaire is to learn how to leverage of others and hence multiply your time.

Ray Kroc (the father of McDonalds) DID NOT invent McDonalds restaurant or its famed burgers and fries. He acquired the worldwide rights from the McDonalds Brothers (who were great cooks but knew nothing about business) and built over 20,000 outlets in a few years, making himself a billionaire. The McDonalds brothers only got 2 million in pale comparison.

Bill Gates became the richest man in the world by licensing MS-DOS to IBM and IBM clone manufacturers back in the 1980s. Again, Gates DID NOT invent DOS. He bought the Operating system from Seattle Computer Products who did not know the value of it), modified it and licensed it for billions of dollars. All its investor sot was just $50,000.

Jack Canfield and Mark Victor Henson sold over 60 million copies of the Chicken Soup for the Soul book series (just imagine if they just made $2 per book) when all they did was to compile the thousands of stories contributed by other people. They again made millions by knowing how to scale other people’s value.

this is the beautiful part of becoming successful. you do not need to be one with the best idea concept of any product, or the person with the most charisma. you do not. ALL you need to do is to believe and accept that you are born and you are talented and destined to be the person you want to be, in my case the first youngest billionaire in singapore is my destiny. to be successful, like ford once said, i do not need to know the details, because with one push of my button, people who have more knowledge than me can help me answer the questions. i have to keep my mind clear so that i can think. YOU do not need to have i repeat, you do not have to be the most talented person in the world to succeed. look at so many people in the world who are successful and you can identify one point. they believe in wat they are doing so much and so well till the extent where they are labelled obstinate and subborn. they're not stubborn in my opinion. a successful person is someone who, makes a decision fast and changes it slowly. simply cause he will not procrastinate and when he starts the idea, he is confident in his idea so that he will not allow people to distract him from it. how many times i wonder i had started an exercise regime and then fail to keep up with it because my passion died down once i started missing out on nightly games with my friends? how many times i had now studied when i was in school despite making strong and solemn vows to once my friends told me to go shop together? Guys, that's why i used to never think about the successful path. i never knew it was available to me. But now, but now, it is right in front of me sightly revealed. i intend to take that path, what about you my friends?

notes: adam khoo was someone i used to condemn like the general public because i did not know what he was doing. i always assumed he was yet another one of those school trainers who just normally and ineffectively motivate students thru forcing them to go for the lessons. one thing that impressed me was how, how he made my sister once upon a time consider the successful path for a FEW months, with jsut one seminar. it is utterly impressive. never have my surrounding friends been motivated thru any of this seminars. sadly for my sister her passion died down. passion dies if conditioning is not there. it does. and sadly, many of us cannot keep up the passion. but yet if we can, the passion will spread to our nearby friends and they will understand how we feel and follow suit. but first let me ask. how strong is your belief in something such that your passion becomes just as huge to spread it to your friends?
