Your image really matters

Yesterday. I went to a seminar on Self-image. I've learnt about some new things. I've come to realise that smart casual means, shirt with dress pants not just tee-shirt with jeans. I've been taught which attire comes with what.

Then comes the hair-styling segment. Despite the speaker being very chio and sorts, she spoke in a language full of jargons, making it hard to understand. It was kind of distracting since my friend who accompanied me became slightly lethargic. But, when it came to my turn to be the model, I had no idea why, the tension was there, I was actually nervous. Guess, I've been too long away from the front of stage haha.

One thing I do enjoy about the seminar was some new etiquettes I've learnt. I realised that monks don't shake hands, neither do muslims. Additionally, I've learnt that Buns go on the left, and drinks go on the right. I've seen a clear picture of what a dead-fish handshake meant. Overall, I didn't waste my time. Thank you Ms Gloria Tam (never address a person's name with a shortcut unless permitted so.) for the seminar.
