Quoting Zserene of http://www.serenelogy.blogspot.com/:
In the journey of life... everyone is fighting for their birthrights.. some get it, some fight for their life and they still dun get it... what is our birthright? our birthrights are we are positive, happy and we deserve all the goods on earth and we should be enjoying life and living the life we desired... Everyone come to this world to fight for their birthright, no one is born perfect.. if everyone is born happy with no obstacles... everything is smooth sailing, i think we might as well dun live hahaha cos is meaningless...
Thus.. in the process of craving and designing your career path for yourself... what kind of mindset and attitude do you carried it together with you? Positive or negative? Are you fighting for what you deserve? Back to the question earlier on... Do you wear your coat with pride?
When u change, opportunity will come to you...
Wise people create opportunity
Clever people grabs opportunity
Average people wait for opportunity
So today are you the wise one or the average one?
If today there is no opportunity, create one
If today there is opportunity, grab it
Don't doubt, don't wait and ask yourself is the opportunity real or not?
Just grab it, try it and you will know....
When u saw a usd100 dollar note on the floor, will you ask yourself is it real and look at it for some time or would you just pick it up and see if is real?
of course is pick it up lar.. haha pick up first den see mah..
same thing, today there is a opportunity in front of you, grab it first and try...
What is your birthright in life? For Serene, it’s to grab hold of every opportunity so she wouldn’t miss it, that’s good for her. Now, what about you my dear friends?
In life, we’re brought up to be fearful of rejection. Since birth, your parents had started telling you not to talk to strangers, how strangers are not good people, how you must follow daddy or mummy’s advice or the ah pun neh neh will catch you. It’s natural to be afraid to fail, afraid to fear getting rejected. It’s okay. What is not okay is that now that when we are adults, we continue to live in this illusion that we should still be afraid of all these things.
Many adult friends of mine fear rejection and being looked down upon by parents and relatives if they fail a business so they never dared to try one. They could have missed an opportunity of earning several thousands a month easily. The question is not that, but rather, are you willing to lose that opportunity because of childish inculcated fears?
I’ve tried my best to be positive, I was never so positive, in the process, I offended quite a few friends. But then I think to myself, should I be negative so I can blend with these negative friends?
There are many friends I can make out there, but I can’t never make all people I know my friend. I tell myself, I have to push on. I am a successful person, I am here to help friends who care about themselves and thus are reading my blog. I cannot let you guys down because of my inferiority!
What opportunity would I miss if I allowed myself to be down? On the surface, this is what I can lose:
A chance to learn how to be stronger and less affected by how people think of me
A chance to get into a world where people surrounding me will appreciate who I am
Many chances to help one of my friends improve by talking to them
Many chances to help friends who read my blog because they know they want to improve!
Many other friendships because I become fake and no longer myself in front of other friends while not being able to make that unfriendly person become my friend.
Looking deeper, this might be what I can lose
A person willing to mentor me to become a more successful person cause I no longer have a personality
Fighting spirit to succeed cause I’m so affect by friends
Losing even more friends because I’ll fall back to my negativity
There are more. I might lose something that I will look back in pain later in life. Ultimately, in life I will still be forced to change… so why not now?
My friends, what world would await the moment you decide that you can change?
This is what you can expect, as a minimum:
Become successful
Become more popular amongst friends
Gain charisma impressing people on stage by your speeches
Be the target people want to talk to because of your willingness to change
Live the life you want because you dared to stand against the norm!
There is this quote,
The world makes way for no man other than those who know what they want in life
Remember:
When u change, opportunity will come to you...
Wise people create opportunity
Clever people grabs opportunity
Average people wait for opportunity
Are you wise, clever or just merely, a person living for the sake of others?
Your life is more precious than your friends if you are not required to betray them. Your life is what you can do to leave a mark on the earth with.
When you finally return to the ground, how has the world changed because you were born?
If you’re prepared to answer or believe none, then, will you be happy with what you have now?
